Social Responsibility – Labor Rights
Our Social Responsibility Policy establishes principles that drive our actions and behaviors with respect to human rights. Our references are the Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UN), the Fundamental Principles and Rights at Work (ILO), and the Global Compact (UN). Such principles are available and are applicable to our employees, internal and external stakeholders. We conduct continuous monitoring through audits, investigation of complaints and application of communication tools and dialogue.

ISO 9001 Certification – Quality Management System +
Congraf Embalagens implemented its ISO 9001 Quality Management System in 2010, which focuses primarily on continuous production improvement and customer satisfaction. In order to ensure effective maintenance, Congraf’s system undergoes periodic checking performed by independent certification bodies.
GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) / BPF (Boas Práticas de Fabricação)
In 2011, CONGRAF EMBALAGENS implemented a Good Manufacturing Practices program intended specifically for packaging production. It is designed to run in conjunction with the Quality Management System to meet specifications, requirements, market legislation applicable to its main clients, and comply with the highest quality, hygiene and cleanliness standards, ensuring complete and unambiguous traceability of each stage of the production process to mitigate and eliminate the main forms of contamination.
FSC® Certification (Forest Stewardship Council®)
Congraf Embalagens obtained its FSC® certification in 2008. Based on sustainability principles, FSC® focuses on the dissemination of the rational use of forests, ensuring their long-term existence through forest management and rational use of forest products. FSC® is also committed to ensure that all the paper and cardboard produced across the globe originate from renewable sources and are subject to absolute control throughout each production chain, until the finished product is obtained and certified.

Research & development
CONGRAF EMBALAGENS’ research and development department consists of a team of specialized professionals who are constantly focused on creativity and innovation. Modern software and equipment integrated to the production process are used to optimize structural design solutions and their variations, ensuring confidentiality and protecting intellectual property.
At the same time, the R&D department counts on an comprehensive online library centered on parameterized standards, which contributes immensely to the optimization and improvement of projects over a short period of time.
The R&D team also creates mock-ups and prototypes to simulate the final packaging so testing, verification and validation can be performed quickly and effectively in order to comply with the briefing proposed by each client.
Our Story
In 1964, Mr. Sidney Anversa Victor, the current CEO, started a printing business across the street from Restaurante Conselheiro, located at 68, Rua Conselheiro Crispiniano, in downtown São Paulo, but it was not until 1972 that CONGRAF EMBALAGENS started to focus on printing and finishing equipment. Throughout the years, the company has been growing gradually, expanding its services portfolio and gaining space as a packaging manufacturing leader in Brazil and abroad.
